Over my many months of research, I’ve created a document full of plants native to our neighborhood and checked against the National Wildlife Federation’s Plant Finder. The spreadsheet includes hundreds of plants that I will never end up growing, so I’m sharing the information here so others can use it and benefit.
The spreadsheet includes details such as sun preferences, height, soil type, etc. That information was pulled from the included nursery links and is missing for plants that I couldn’t find on sale. There are also columns to denote plants suggested by the Xerces Society for our region or that are firefly friendly as they are also in decline.
